How Does This Work?

Glad to know you’re excited to get started! Here’s exactly what you can expect: 

  1. Choose your interview  package you’d like. Add to cart and make your payment!
  2. You will be redirected to our intake form. Include more details about yourself and book your first call. You’ll also be asked about who your preferred coach is!
  3. We’ll match you with a coach within 24 hours and send you a link to their calendar. 
  4. In session one, you’ll review and nail down your overall interview strategy, and you coach will help you overcome any pitfalls you’ve been experiencing. 
  5. If you booked a package with a mock interview, you’ll get the chance to practice what you learned in session one! 
  6. Your coach will send you feedback and action items after each session, so you’ll know exactly what steps you need to take before heading into your interview!

How do I choose the right package?

The key difference between each package is the mock interview. If you'd like at least one practice round, book the Accelerated! If you'd like to implement what you learned in the first mock interview with a second practice round, book the Mastery!

Can I choose my expert?

Yes and no! We do take your preferences into consideration, but based on our writer's expertise and bandwidth, we may match you with another expert. You really can't go wrong with any of our coaches, as they all have 10+ years of HR experience. If you are booking other services (like a resume rewrite or an audit), we will assign you to the same person for each. If you are unsure who to work with, please email hello@resumeofficial.com and we'll get back to you within 24 hours!

Do I need to have an interview booked?

No! In fact, it may be better to kick off the interview coaching before having one booked. Interviews are often scheduled relatively quickly, and it's better to give yourself more time to practice. If you do have an interview scheduled, we highly recommend booking one of the packages with a mock interview, and be sure to let your coach know so they can prepare accordingly!

How is this different than rehearsing with a friend?

Practicing with a friend can be helpful, but most friends won’t know what hiring teams are actually listening for. Our coaches have helped hundreds of job seekers across industries - we know how to identify gaps in your answers, refine your messaging, and help you practice in a way that feels natural, not scripted. It’s not just about sounding good - it’s about learning how to clearly communicate your value and stand out from other candidates.
